Photo & Signature Resizer for Online Forms

Get your photo or signature to the exact size and file size an online form asks for, such as 3.5 × 4.5 cm under 50 KB.

Your files stay on your device. This tool processes your file directly in your browser. Nothing is uploaded to our servers.

How it works

  1. Choose Photo, Signature or Custom, then type the size and KB range from your form's instructions.
  2. Upload your picture and drag or zoom it in the frame until it is framed well.
  3. For signatures, keep "Clean up" on to turn the paper white and the ink dark.
  4. Check the size shown, then download the JPG and upload it to your form.

Frequently asked questions

What size should a photo and signature be for exam forms?

It depends on the form. Many ask for a photo of 3.5 × 4.5 cm or 200 × 230 pixels between 20 and 50 KB, and a signature of 140 × 60 pixels between 10 and 20 KB. Always use the numbers in your own form's notice.

How do you make a file bigger than the minimum KB?

Small pictures such as signatures are often below the minimum even at top quality. The tool then adds blank comment data inside the JPG, which every viewer ignores, so the file meets the minimum while the picture stays the same.

Why does my form reject a 50 KB file?

Some sites count 1 KB as 1,000 bytes and others as 1,024. The tool keeps files under the maximum by the stricter measure and over the minimum by the stricter one, so either way the size is accepted.

How do I set the size in centimetres?

Choose cm as the unit and enter the width and height. Centimetres become pixels at the DPI you choose, 200 by default, and the DPI is saved in the file so printers and form checkers read the right size.

What does Clean up signature do?

It finds the paper colour in your photo and turns it white, then darkens the ink, removing shadows and grey paper from phone pictures. Turn it off for a scan that already looks clean.

Read your form's instructions first

Every recruitment and admission portal sets its own rules for the photo and signature. Before you start, note down:

  • Dimensions: in pixels (for example 200 × 230) or in centimetres (for example 3.5 × 4.5 cm).
  • File size: the minimum and maximum, such as 20–50 KB for a photo or 10–20 KB for a signature.
  • Format: nearly always JPG or JPEG, which is what this tool creates.
  • Other rules: background colour, black or blue ink, the date on the photo, or a recent photograph.

Tips for a photo and signature that get accepted

  • Take the photo facing the camera in daylight, against a plain light wall, with your whole face and the top of your shoulders in the frame.
  • Sign on plain white paper with a dark pen, and photograph it from straight above so the signature is not slanted.
  • Fill the frame: zoom until the face or the signature takes up most of the picture, without cutting anything off.

Your picture never leaves your device: it is cropped, resized and compressed in your browser, which matters for files that carry your face and signature.
